Great workaround, but I will do a patch sometime so that you can
override the default viewpoint. Not sure what the syntax should be,
prehaps it could be:

$viewpoint=[10,20,30];

or something like that?

Meantime I am trying to build OpenSCAD on windows so you can all have
a new windows release.
