Release Candidate 3 Bugs (r7744, 2006-07-17)
- warnings during boot: /etc/fstab: no such file or directory, /dev/cdroms/cdrom0 is write-protected, mounting read-only (fix in submaster)
- In installation after partitioning, right after "Install the system", pressing back jumps to postinstall, not to partitioning again. (won't fix, wait for new installer)
- message from mkinitrd: Copying other files ... /etc/conf/dm/mounts is requested by /etc/conf/initrd/initrd_dm but doesn't exist (fix in submaster)
- no keymap selection up to installation (won't fix, wait for new installer)
- netrunner: everything here was experienced in qemu
- no utf8 locales selectable
- installation under qemu full virtualization does not work (kernel crashes when booting)
- chose X automated config (X -configure) in stone, screen blacks out and does not respond any more (even not to ctrl-alt-f1 or ctrl-alt-backspace) (known problem. Try "X -configure; X -config xorg.conf.new", this should give you an X server which you can then kill and continue working. Probably a problem with qemu)
- in stone, I enter Device Mapper Configuration and back right out, but it nevertheless creates a new initrd for an annoying bit of time (fix in submaster)
