Damn, which tree do I have ?

If you don't know which Tree you are using, have a look at

/etc/ROCK-VERSION

mine, for example, reads:

fake@jana:~$ cat /etc/ROCK-VERSION
ROCK Linux 2.1.0-DEV (2004/11/19)

Versions beginning with 2.0 denote the Stable Tree 2.0, whereas (you guessed it) versions beginning with 2.1 or (since some time now) just the word TRUNK show you're running an Unstable Tree Trunk.
